- Chapter 16 is, without a doubt, one of the most important chapters of the book. Make sure you read and understand it (consult online summaries if you need to), particularly the sacrifices made to create the brave new world.
- Continue work on your character Facebook pages. Remember, you need two full pages (one profile information page, one newsfeed/wall). We will go to the computer lab next Thursday & Friday to wrap up this assignment.
- ASSIGNMENT: Read Chapter 17 for tomorrow (Thursday). Reading Quiz (Ch. 14-18) Friday!

- We kicked off The Kite Runner today! As a class, we discussed themes and relevant experiences in anticipation of the novel. We'll spend the remainder of the week introducing the book.
