Wednesday 3-30-11

Back to Honors English only...
Thanks, AP students, for being so cooperative while I taught your classes!

1st, 3rd, 6th
We are nearing the end of our This I Believe: Constructing an Effective Personal Essay unit. If you have missed any classes or lectures, please be sure to get all of the necessary information from Ms. Houchin.

Together, we have brainstormed, chosen belief statements, and completed pre-writing activities. By this point, you should have rough draft of your personal essay completed.

Today (Wednesday) and tomorrow (Thursday) will give you time in the computer lab to type your personal essay. Remember to check the rubric and all writing guidelines to make sure you're doing everything you need to!

If you're having trouble brainstorming ideas or need to look at a few more examples, check out this link:

As always, let me know if you have any questions!
